When planning my trip to Springfield, Missouri, I decided to give George's a try since it had great reviews. The meal started with chips and salsa. I was happy that the chips were not salty as most chips are. And the salsa...can I just say heavenly?! The salsa was a nice blend of spicy and sweet. It is the first time in a long time that I actually finished the chips and salsa. Then came the chicken fajitas...they smelled, sounded, and tasted delicious. Check out the pics and the video that I posted. Anyone who knows me will tell you that I am picky when it comes to Mexican food, so for me to say that I would actually come back again, is a big deal. Not only would I come back, I would definitely recommend this place.

I got the french toast and a fried egg. Both were cooked perfectly. The french toast used a perfect type of bread, sliced thick, and it was great with just butter and powdered sugar. It also was cooked quickly despite them being busy.

I love home town diner food and this place is perfect for it! If you're running low on funds I suggest the recession-proof breakfast that comes with a ridiculous amount of food for a ridiculously low price. The crowd is typically older but that never stopped me.

Questions & Answers

Absolutely! We have our recession breakfast that is $2.99 from open until 11am and $4.99 from 11am until close. It comes with plenty of food to fill you up with options like bacon or hash browns or sausage and pancakes or biscuits with gravy and eggs! We also have other menu options available for $5 or under!

We carry local honey from Hometown Honey, in Willard Missouri.

Everytime

I'm pretty sure you can.

They do have a recession proof breakfast that gives you plenty of food. It's cheap during breakfast hours.

Yes! We offer the Impossible Burger on our menu, a salad bar and also a black bean veggie burger (not on the menu, but still available)!. Also lots of fresh fruits and vegetables.

Don't need reservation, if they're really busy you may have to wait to be seated.

Yes! We have a breakfast buffet every Saturday and Sunday morning for $8.99. It includes fresh fruit, yogurt, granola, bacon, sausage, eggs (any way you like them), biscuits and gravy, grits, oatmeal, fresh pastries, the list goes on! We also offer a full menu of breakfast options (or dinner if you prefer!). Breakfast Buffet is 8am until 1pm, weekends only.

It would be easier to call and ask.
